Select whether you would like Practice Expense RVUs for CPT codes without a place of service to be calculated using the facility or non-facility rate. Facility typically refers to an inpatient location, such as a hospital. Non-facility typically refers to an outpatient location, such as a physician office or ambulatory surgery center. This will only be used when a place of service code is not provided.

Select whether you would like Practice Expense RVUs to be calculated using the transitional or fully implemented rate. The transitional RVUs exist for fee schedules from 2007 to 2011. Fee schedules from other years will be calculated using fully implemented RVUs.

Select what version you would like to use to calculate RVUs. Fee schedules may be updated throughout the year, so please refer to CMS for the most current fee schedule for any date of service. If you are comparing different versions, please select two fee schedules.
Locality

Select what locality you would like to use to determine the Geographic Practice Cost Index (GPCI) that will be applied. The GPCI will adjust the Work, Practice Expense, and Malpractice RVUs based on the locality you choose. For GPCI Neutral please select National, and all GPCIs will be set to 1.
